About
Build To Reach is a deep part of our history and a bright part of our future.
Every year it’s an extraordinary opportunity for our faith to be expressed through our love (Galatians 5:6). Jesus came to seek and save the lost and this is our same heartbeat. To reach beyond, continuing to build a heritage of faith for generations to come.
If this is new to you, Build To Reach is an annual rhythm for us as a church.
In June each year, we prayerfully consider what we will commit, and over a 12 month period fulfill that commitment. It’s an opportunity to step out in faith, but only ever in joy, not obligation.

Letter from Will and Liv Green
‘When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”‘ John 8:12
Build to Reach is more than mere fundraising, it is an expression of our heart as a community. Every year, through prayerful, joyful, sacrificial giving – we express our love for God, and love for others through generosity.
What the Lord has done since Build to Reach began 20 years ago through the joyful generosity of this humble church is extraordinary.
Churches planted. Needs met.
A church home secured. Nations reached.
The persecuted helped. Lost people saved.
Light reaching dark places.
In a lot of ways, we are very ordinary people – men and women, mums and dads, sons and daughters, grandparents, students, professionals, pensioners, tradespeople, teenagers – ordinary people.
The disciples were “unschooled, ordinary men” (Acts 4:13). After performing an extraordinary miracle, the rulers of the day examined them to see how this was possible – what set them apart was not their human perfection, or impressive feats – they were ordinary. What set them apart was that “they had been with Jesus”.
It’s the ordinary people, who have seen Jesus, who have seen the light of the world, that God uses to shine the light in a dark world.
We are these people. We are that kind of church.
The light has come into our world. We are really, truly alive.
Now it is our joy to reflect the light that has come into our lives. But not just one of us, all of us. A community of people, moved by the love of Christ, reflecting that love into a broken world.
We are a glorious mosaic of people, together reflecting the light of Christ that has shone on us.
Thank you for you generosity. Let’s continue to build to reach.
Will and Liv Green

How To Get Involved
1. Prayerfully consider the amount that you will pledge for the following 12 months.
This should be your first step in becoming involved in partnering with Build to Reach. Pray for both faith and wisdom in making your decision.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)
2. Make your commitment to Build to Reach using the commitment card.
You will have an opportunity to complete a commitment card during the services. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend church, you can complete an online commitment card here.
3. Consider how you will fulfil your commitment over the next 12 months.
Here are some ways you may want to give:
Make a regular weekly or monthly contribution over the year, or one lump sum before June 2027. Regular giving can be easier to manage, is rewarding and quickly builds up over time, as you can see below:
$20 week = $86 month = $1,040 year
$80 week = $346 month = $4,160 year
$300 week = $1,300 month = $15,000 year
$1,000 week = $4,332 month = $52,000 year
Paul suggested to the early church:
“… Each of you should put aside some amount of money in relation to what you have earned and save it for this offering. Don’t wait until I get there and try to do it all once.” – 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 (NLT)
4. Regularly pray into your commitment.
Place your prayer card in a place where you and your family can see it and pray regularly for it.
